Anyone know the part number from Moss Motors for the firewall grommet where the water temp sensor feeds through?

Thanks Dutch. Any advice on getting the sender unit back through the grommet? I tore it to hell trying to push it through. I don’t see how the big nut and the temp sender fit through without cutting it away some

Tim, cut through one side of the new grommet, slide the temp sensing wire through the cut and push the grommet back into the hole in the firewall and you're home! I bought an assortment from ebay and it does a pretty good job of providing a wide range to grommet sizes for your needs.

I generally use universal parts and adapt. In any case, Larry is correct. Cut one side and when you fit everything back together in the firewall, it will close up. A dab of silicone on the assembly will really seal things up, but in an open car, that last bit of sealing off the engine room is not so important. There are lots of pinhole leaks around the firewall and foot wells anyway.
