High Torque Starter

I am in the process of installing a high torque starter and the wiring of course is different from the factory set up. It requires that essentially I have to bypass the original starter solenoid. I'd be interested in how others have done this or any recommendations/ warnings about what to do or not do. Thanks Doug

On mine I run the battery power straight to the starter (big lug) and run the solenoid controlled power to the little starter motor lug
