Hey everyone, as a few of you know I tried fitting a new steering wheel. Turned out the last 10-12 mm of thread on my steering column is donald ducked! So I need a new one! Then the new wheel and boss should tighten on correctly.

But they dont make them, Moss are out of stock, and the only place seems to be eBay!!

Can anyone tell me what steering column I need for a 72 UK spec MG Midget please? Ive heard some are collapsible, and others not.

Cheers!
Andy

You could also buy a thread file and repair and keep the column you currently have. I have done this with good results but it also depends how bad these threads are. you mileage may vary.....Bob
