I'll be picking up a hard top for my '71 on Saturday morning.
Currently, I have the soft top folded down and the boot snapped down tight over it.
Will the hard top fit over the boot, or will the three Tenax fasteners on each side get in the way? (The ones that have to be pulled up to release.) It looks like they stick out quite a bit and may interfere with the bottom edge of the hard top.

Thanks!
Pete

The hardtop will fit over a properly folded down convertible top, but you'll most likely need to leave the top boot off. I don't think I've ever seen one left on with the hardtop in place.

x2! Boot stays off. Fold it neatly in the trunk and slip it in a pillowcase. As far as those Tenax, if there is any issue with snugness use super-spongy foam/rubber to compensate for those things jutting out.
