Some people are of the mindset that they want to have theirs rebuilt, regardless of the condition it's in when removed from the original car. My experience with the couple dozen transmissions that have been through my hands is that most are useable as-is. Neither is bad, just whatever your personal preference is and what your budget allows. For anyone that prefers to rebuild one, I have a couple that I know will need a rebuild. If you want to get in at a lower price point, you can let me know off list if these might interest you. One is an H pattern, one is a Rallye pattern.
