I have à mg midget 1500cc of year 1976 . Amerikan model .
What is thee exact ignition timing of this car have somo problems whit THE timing .
THE book says 2 degrees after nut stil have problems .

Welcome to the MGE. You have found a great place to be. The 2 degree ATDC was only for emissions reasons. Set your timing to 10 BTDC, with the distributor vacuum line disconnected and plugged. The car will run much better.

You have what is called NA spec or Federal. Whatever emissions you can legally strip do so. Keep "tuned"!
