not Revolutions per se, but Haps VTO's are very similar and he has some pictures of race cars on his site here:

http://www.acmespeedshop.com/photos.html

And you can see Mr David Harrisson's (Gundy) Bugeye pictured in this thread with its VTO's. http://www.mgexperience.net/phorum/read.php?3,2106354,2106354#msg-2106354(Hap supplied)

There are some pictures in the vehicle registry if you have the patience to look too.

Mat, go to my website (linked below) go to the projcts page, look at "Buster", the yellow Midget race car those were new Revolutions used on that car. I have had several sets of Revolutions on my race car over the years, The biggest downfall today, is they still use those pesky shoulder lug nuts.

They do look nice Hap. Would 175/60 tyres be ok. I presume they wouldn't cause any issues on a rwa.?

That width of tire (175) would work fine as far as width on a RWA car, you could even go as wide as 185 on the RWA car, the problem would be more with the (60) aspect number, that would be a much smaller prfoile than stock, and would leave gap;ping hole between the tire and the wheel opening, not a look most folks want.

Try this go to http://www.mintylamb.co.uk,and use his tire-wheel campare-o-rama , it will let yo compare the tire sise you have now to another tire size, the goal is to get close the rolling diameter.

Here's a quick run down of what the numbers mean in a p-metric tire size, we will use the 175-60-13 as a example.

175 is the actual wwidth of the tread section of the tire in mm
60 is a aspect, or ratio number, what it means is the side wall height is 60% of the treead width
13 is is the wheel, or ruim diameter

As width numbers go up, the aspsct number can go down and you may end up at the the same, or near the same rolling diameter as say a lesser width tire with a higher aspect number.

The main issue is there really isn't any good 13" perforamce tire choices for a Midget that fit within the car's wheel well, atlest in the US, there are some 205/60-13 perforamcne tires out there, while extremely rare they still don't fit within the bodywork, and then there are som 185/60-13, but only in track tires, and you wouldn't want to run them on your strret car, they would wear out to fast. We, at VTO addressed this issue by making a 14x5.5 wheel for the Spridgets and then that opened the door up to use a 185/60-14 tire which does offer some performance tire choices. WE do this using our Retro 4 whee, which in the black color kinda looks similar to the Revolution.

Thanks for comprehensive answer Hap. I've just seen the thread with your super lite silvers - they look lovely. Are they available in 14"s. ? Trouble is I'm based in uk so shipping might well be prohibitive.

I have seen some 6 x14 superlites with choices of:

OFFSET BACKSPACE
18p 106
26p 116

http://www.superlite-wheels.com/wheelpage.asp?cat=1

What tyre would i need to make them fit ? or are they just not gonna work ?
There seems to be plenty 185\60\14s available ?
