I'm looking for seats. The ones in the mg now are done. Has any one used a aftermarket racing seats? there all kind of them on ebay. Or is there a place I can get a more comfortable mg seat or a kit to redo the ones I have.

I have a set of very good used ones for cheap and you're pretty close to me. Otherwise go to Moss/VBritish for rebuild kits or look for Miata seats as some folks like them alot.

Oh well. Wrong color scheme for my BLUE car. Why are you getting rid of them, if I may ask?? How cheap?

I have 280z seats in mine. Fit great, looks nice and easy to install. Have you ever sat in racing seats? I've ran several sets in various vehicles for many years and they're too uncomfortable for daily drivers. Perhaps an expensive ($500+) set would be more comfortable but I doubt it. You're better off going with one of the alternative stock options out there (Midget, Miata, Datsun, etc).

I picked up a new set of tan leather Sullfolks for about half price on on EvilBay...my old 79 had the same ones and they are significantly more comfortable and supporting than even the redone seats.
