Does anyone know of any wheels that are the same lug pattern as the 13" mg midget, from other cars, that will fit?

A google search will do wonders sometimes, this comes from the second link for the search "mg midget wheel bolt pattern" (without quotes)

Watch out for lug size and center hole sizes (ie "Vega" rims have the same bolt pattern but the center holes are too small, etc)

Not sure what you mean? "Center holes are too small"? Too small for what?

I have used Vega wheels, both the 5" wide and the 6" 4 spoke version, with no fitment issues. I did convert to 7/16 studs.

I've used Vega and Monza wheels as well, both the steel and the alloy Cosworth Vega types. Didn't really have any issues with them either.

I know that is an issue on the vega steel wheel, they had to have the center bore hole open up a tad.

Hap, please explain. I have used the Vega wheels a lot, with no modifications. Why would you need to open up the center hole?

These are Vega wheels. I even found some later model MGB center hub caps with the MG logo that nicely snap into th e 2" center holes.

Neil, I'm far form a expert on this topic, but I know there were more than one model of Vega wheels, I've have a set lying around here and they look nothing like the ones you have. I never modifed a set, but I heard many folks talk about it, Mike Joy for one.

Hap, I am just trying to learn something new. The rims in the photo on my car are are from a Vega GT, and they are 6"X13" with 4 spokes, stamped steel. BTW, I have since switched to Revolutions.

The Vega wheels I have in the shop are 13x5" they were used on a SCCA HP Spridget, when 5" was the max wheel width allowed for HP Spridget, in 2005-2006 we got the rule changed, and now all SCCA HP Spridgets are allowed 6" width rims.
