Les. It's a sad fact that costs to do the interior and brightwork make the cars very difficult to restore.

I've had to chop up two shells that would have been decent restoration candidates because no one would haul them away.

I know, I know,the mag isn't the cheapest resto project sad smiley

,its just a shame someone out there is looking for that door or the wing.

I'm no saint I suppose,I used to love going to the stock car racing in Motherwell Scotland back in the early seventies,great days listening to middle of the road and the sweet before the race chewing on a hot dog with half cooked onions grinning smiley

,the odd flying wheel,all good fun.

I suppose Kelvin without those memories in our background we wouldn't have the same love for these cars that we have now.

My memory of a British dirt stock car race involved a flying helmet after a particularily nasty collision. The problem was that it wasn't empty.

Quite an image for a 10 year old.
