University Motors Summer Party- Grand Lake Tour #1

This is a heads up for anyone planning to attend University Motors' Summer Party and who likes to DRIVE their MG.

The Grand Lake Tour (sometimes called the Lap of the Lake) will be held on August 16-17th this year, leading into the start of the Summer Party. This rally is a Summer Party tradition dating back to 1993. It is an endurance-navigational themed rally and having participated in 13 such styled rallies myself, I can assure you that there are not many finer ways to enjoy driving your car.

I am organizing the rally this year, and can provide you with all the details if you're interested. PM me with your email address and I will keep you updated via email, or check out the Facebook group page at http://www.facebook.com/groups/Grand.Lake.Tour/. There are some neat pictures and articles from past years.

Oh, and in case the age of your car discourages you, I have heard from at least one participant who plans to enter his newly restored TD.
