Hi,

OK. Dumb question. I searched Orielly's, Autozone and Napa and could not locate a Payen head gasket #296-400 or the LATEST GENERATION RESIN # 296-405 via internet sites.
So now where do I go. To the actual stores? Google search?
Maybe I wrote down the numbers wrong?

Buckey,

296-400 comes up on Moss Motors website as an MGA head gasket:

Does not say if it is the Payen gasket, but you could call them to find out. 1-800-667-7872 is the order line.

I'm not affiliated with Moss at all, except as a major purchaser of MGB parts!

Ja, not a Payen number and definitely looks like a Moss number so no wonder it doesn't come up. winking smiley

Try a search of the threads again for the NAPA number.

I think it maybe a Fel-Pro in most auto parts houses. They are a multi-layer head gasket and that is what you want.
