I think you (or he) needs to define a 'reasonable offer'.

I also suggest Bring A Trailer as a good place to sell nice cars. Most of the comments are helpful to both sellers & buyers. And the cars seem to get a fair price for both, too.

Setting a price goes a long way when selling a vehicle. You exclude a lot of folks with a make offer type sale as they usually default to the “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it” type scenario.

I realize the seller wants top dollar, we all do. Set a price of what you want, If no bites then drop the price until you get a buyer.

Nice car BTW apart from the whitewalls...winking smiley

An MGB engine and the 5 speed makes that car a very nice driver.
