Hi Ron,

hope everything is well with you and your familythumbs up

When I bought the parts, you came in mind to be a good candidate for them.

If you need the axle shafts, they're yours for the costs I had (quite low).

On the other side, as you know, the dream of owning a MKII DeLuxe is always there grinning smiley

Only Jutta don't agree !!

Cheers

Family is great and hope your family is well too. Thank you for thinking of me and hopefully one day you will get a Deluxe or TC.
A friend just a few miles away has a set that he will not be using. I have been eyeballing them for years and just not sure when to spring my acquisition plan. Maybe after he wins the lottery and will be flush with cash.grinning smiley
For a guy who already has a lot of MGAs and a MGA chassis and parts hanging from the 3rd floor of his barn I can see where Jutta will be a hard nut to crack when you tell her you need another MGA.devil smiley

Hi Ron,

you're right, but you won't believe it, I just got hold of a complete body with frame and wings for less than 300US$. I couldn't say "NO". Now the space is getting smaller and Jutta can't park her care anymore in the garagehot smiley

But, as you may know, I'll find a solution to that "issue/problem". Maybe built an external shed !

Hey Gio,

I was just messing with you -- great purchase and always a result finding parts so close to home thumbs up

You should keep the parts because I have a feeling that a TC or Deluxe will someday show up in your garage. It just sorta happens smiling smiley

The axle shafts themselves are nothing rare - same as all the wire wheel cars.

The ends that press on with the plate for the Dunlop wheels are obviously rare, but I believe Jim A. told me years ago he found a small cache of those NOS parts once in Mexico - and has never since had any request for ne as they never wear out. So rare, but don't count on selling any time soon.

Hi Bill,

the axles were just a part of the purchase. I bought also a 3,9 diff, brake discs plus new bumpers, front and rear and small items like switches and lamps.
The total price was quite low, so not selling the halfshaft will not cause a big damagegrinning smiley

All the Best
