While at the summer house yesterday I was thinking just how small the MGA looks......

No this is not a matchbox car

Heh - Biltmore House - Biltmore NC - just outside Asheville NC.

Been to the Biltmore a few times and love the parkway, but have never been with the A (yet).

GT 38 , 2013 will be in Ashville NC and I expect will include some Biltmore events.. The GT is being hosted by the North Carolina MG Car Club out of Raleigh.

That reminds me of an old Triumph club mag I had. They put a Triumph Mayflower (looks like a miniature Rolls Royce) outside a normal house with pillars and took a picture - captioned it something like "How to make your house look bigger". I looked but couldn't find the image on the net.

Nice house? Maybe, but looks can be deceiving. I don't recall seeing any garage space when I was up there the last time - which makes it a sub-standard house, in my humble opinion.

I believe the stables are now the cafeteria. Easy to convert back once you get rid of all the tourists!

Just the carriage house (where the carriages and later the automobiles) in the stable complex next to the main house has more sq. footage than my 4 bedroom 2 car garage ranch. I saw a lot of B's on the Estate a couple of weeks ago, maybe scouting the location?
