YouTube trailer for a movie on Vintage Racing Today to be released in the Spring/Summer of 2012. There are two MGA racers on the Zapata team.

I'm not sure if this has been listed before so my apologies if it has.

If anyone knows any history of MGA Twin Cams that went to Canada I would be very interested.
As I understand it there were about 50 Twin Cams imported into Canada and in the video there is a Tyrolite blue one at the 5 minute mark which may be mine.

Towards the end of the film there is am MGA that rolls over. Those guys were tuff in those days!!

This last summer after too many worrisome nights my son and I finally got up the nerve to try and restart my MGA engine after being dormant for 25 years. I had over the years kept the Mystery oil flowing in the plug holes] but my compression was low. The car was pretty much restored except for the roar of the engine until that wonderful Saturday afternoon.

Except for one BIG problem...

The British Flag in your garage is upside down!!!!!!!!

The wide white stripe should be uppermost next to the pole (compare to the flag in the closing scene)

Ouch... my apologies to all those British. While I can not change the video I can rehang the flag over my MGA.I know an upside down flag in the states is a sign of distress.Call me a dumb yank now enlightened. confused smiley

Any yes you are right most people would not have known that the Union Fag( and not the Union Jack) should be flown with the broad white stripe nearest the flag pole to the top..
