MGB parachute commercial used in a Saturday Night Live skit

I spotted the MGB parachute commercial being used in a Saturday Night Live skit. There are two of these MacGruber skits in this link and the shot of the MGB rolling out of the back of the cargo plane is in the beginning of the second skit

Some more laps - this time battling an Alfa ... and then after the hard work is done I throw it off the track AGAIN! Why is she pulling so violently to the left when locked up? Yes, don't lock everything up, but....

I taped the efforts to start the MG after she sat in the back of my garage since 1998.

The funniest part is my wife Laura. I was joking with Kevin (AKA Fieldbuilder here on the forum) that she was an ex-Army MP and swears like a sailor so, of course, she goes out of her way to swear constantly...not knowing that I am taping the whole thing.

I showed this to her last night and she is so embarrassed.

The first half of the vid shows us trying to get the B restarted. The second half is after I replaced most of the ignition parts on Sunday and she actually runs.

Very cool.

Just got the B back on the road again after the latest trials and tribulations with going through the engine and gearbox. To share the joy, here's my first YouTube video ever. Nothin' fancy, just a dude and his car. Tomorrow I'll share a test drive video (dang things take forever to upload to YouTube).
