Yesterday a friend shot three videos from the passenger seat of my '63. Here's the first one, which is the farmland SE of Amity, starting at the edge of Amity, and ending at Perrydale, OR.

Here's the second video, up and over the hills east of Amity, through vinyards and with views of Hood, Adams, St Helens, and Jefferson. Unfortunately, he only zoomed on Hood.

This is a video of my first drive in my ’76. The camera is mounted on a bicycle rack and is bouncing around badly, but it’s my first ride so it goes in the books.

Very nice! Bouncy or not, your first drive is an event.

Welcome to the fun!

Take the time to understand what a part does and how it does it, then you'll have a better understanding of how to fix it when it goes wrong. Beats the scattergun approach every time.

Ignition testing made easy.

That little yellow car that you were following just before you turned off, was it an M Type Midget? There was another there toward the end, too. Interesting gathering it seems.

I don't know what that one was. There were quite a few that I could only identify by looking for their numbers on the entry sheet. There was only one M Type and that was the sliver/gray one in the video in the off topic forum

Posted from the V8 side.

You can see how much the car is smoking due to too much fuel pressure, and a little bit of fuel getting past the needle and seat. It still out performed a lot of cars, but it would've been a little quicker with that problem fixed. I have a new fuel pressure regulator now. The car is even quicker now.

There were guys at that first turn taking pictures, I thought they had the video camera. You can hear me get on it a little bit a few seconds before I come around the corner. I got it squirrely for the camera... just the WRONG ONE... oh well.

I'm at 1:14 in the video.
