I was wondering if anybody knew where the best place was to get whitewall tires for B's . After seeing a few at the show with whitewalls , I'm pretty sure thats the way I'm going to go , I know alot of people throw up when they see a B with whitewalls but I think with a lighter color car and wires , it would look O.K.

I assume you are talking about wide whites (like Janel had looked into). Here is the company that was most reccommended;

http://dbtires.com/

Coker tires has them as well;

He is running these on a 64B with wires. Yours would look great on my GT (gives me ideas smiling smiley )
I would not however run hem on my 67. Different strokes for different cars smiling smiley

The more white , the better , imo . With wires and a lighter , close to white paint job , I think it will look pretty good. I like all the pics that were posted but if and when I do get new tires , I will more than likely go all white , thanks everyone.

Check your local tire stores. There are cars all around you all the time with whitewall tires, raised white letters, and raised white outline letters, they just have the whites turned inboard

I have been looking but all I haver found are the skinny whites . I have asked a couple of places and they all look at me kinda funny and ask why I would want such a wide whitewall , kinda sad actually.

Looks like you'll have to go with one of the specialty tire companys linked in the other posts.

Eric,

If I can be of any help just let me know what size and other essentials.

I'm here in Lancaster county and there is a great place to get wide white vintage style tires right up the road in Elizabethtown.

Its called Universal tire.

I heard a lot of comments at MG2006 that BINABOX would have taken first place if it had whitewalls. devil smiley
