Wouldn't be a problem if you used 20 - 50 oil and a Fram filter.

77 MGB - Four tone paint -Pertronix - hood props - cheap tires - new springs all around - mixture of poly and rubber bushings- fuzzy seatcovers - stereo out of old F150 pickup -runs flawlessly and drives nice.

78 MGB - Done right by a good PO, and I only bought it. Tell Jim how nice it is. But I did put in a Datsun 5 speed.

53 TD Mark II - a work in progress.

79/65 MGB - Carmine- V-6 - T-5
This car is now very nearly completely done. Sure to find something else, but not now.........

All caused by a seized Muffler Bearing.

In reply to # 3640323 by Probie So I went out to the B today. Turned the thingamabob and the doohicky made a funny noise then the thingamajig stopped working. I lifted the whichamacallit and looked at the dohicky and it looked fine. But I did notice the doodat looked a little funny. Now I am no... you know who, but I would say the doohicky is not working. But it could be caused by the thingamajig smelling funny. I tried to take a pic but I could not get the whatisit to work either, so I thought I would just post here. So what do you think the problem is? Do you think maybe the whatnot might have caused the thingamajig to stop working?

Thought a bit of humor would be fun. Have a great day.

Ever Wonder ?

Sounds to me like you need to go to NAPA for a can of compression. We actually pulled that one back in autoshop in 1970. Today we would be expelled for bullying!

In reply to # 3640455 by fordgt Those wrenches come in left handed?

In reply to # 3640446 by tahoe36c Get that several sixteenths wrench and replace them. I hate when that happens!

I’d give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Next time that happens, turn the key off and count to thirty, then turn it back on. If that doesn't work, turn the screw a little. Which way do you turn the screw?

Do you have an OEM doohickey or an aftermarket doohickey. I'm sure we'll get a string on that going with the Cavaliers on one side and Rounheads on the other.
