Hello, i have just recieved my panel light switch, and on my wiring diagram, it says that there should be 4 wires hooked up to it, 3 red and white wires and a brown wire. If anyone could gelp me locare these, it would be great. Thank you

Shouldn't that be 3 red/white and a red/green?

That is what I had thought but when I plugged them all in to the spade connetors, nothing happened

With the dimmer out of the circuit, and the wires not connected to anything, are the panel lights off when the parking lights/headlights are on? If they are off, then it should be a matter of getting the wires correctly connected to the dimmer. Red/green wire to one terminal and the three red/white wires to the other terminal.
If that's not working, test for power at the Red/green wire when the parking lights/headlights are on. Should be 12 volts +/- a bit. You can connect the Red/green directly to the red/white wires, bypassing the dimmer, and the panel lights should work when the parking lights/headlights are on.
If the panel lights are on with the dimmer out of the circuit, there could be another wire that someone added that is powering the panel lamps.

A Red/Green wire feeds the rheostat from the headlamp switch,

the photo below shows the output of the rheostat to the sub harness.
As Dan writes, the later model you have should have quantity 3 Red/White wires versus the 1 R/W shown below.
Principle remains.
