I know Mark Medynski and have bought new and rebuilt pumps from him. I recommend his products as he uses alcohol-resistant rubber so the pump will last.

I think we are discussing fuel pumps for the MG, not for your Saturday nights. moon

US petrol is blended with alcohol, and it dissolves rubber parts unless those parts are formulated with special rubber. This rubber deterioration can happen to fuel hoses as well as fuel pump diaphragms. The percentage of alcohol in fuels varies from country to country.

Yes, this is the price I also recognise for my Hardi from MOSS. These USA prices for Hardi (and SU) in #7 are way out of line by about $100 eye popping smiley
( with the present exchange rate of 1€ = 1,2 $ there need not be anything more than a 20% max. difference on German built products)

If I had found this before I would not have spent on a used pump new point + new diaphragm....less expensive than SU http://www.autozone.com/external-engine/fuel-pump/spectra-premium-fuel-pump/349235_333395_6210
