I know it's a personal decision, but just need to throw it out there. Before I bought it I considered the color an obstacle, but it's growing on me. It is rare. Seems only the 73 in US has it. Anyway, give me a reality check.
Thanks,
David
Yeah, the wife is questioning it. hehe

I'm not one to throw stones, my car is harvest gold smiling smiley

To me lime flower is one of those odd colors like harvest gold, snapdragon, bronze yellow or tundra. You won't find many cars (or MGs) in those colors and if they were, they have been repainted red, green or white.

I left my car harvest gold due to cost and effort of doing a good job changing color. If you're doing a rotisserie restoration chose the color you (and your wife) like!

Had to look it up... I like it! Not as much as Bronze Yellow, mind you, but it's way more interesting than "oh look, another red one..."

My 73 was originally LIMEFLOWER. it is now BRG with tan interior. I would like to go back to the Limeflower some day for originality, that 70's vibe, etc etc. but I don't think i'd like to go back to the dark interior...

I've brought this up a few times when colour is debated, but mine was limeflower when new, now repainted red.

If I'm ever up under the dash I usually longingly admire the one section under there that's still limeflower and wish the whole car was that colour.

I'll admit it's a pretty ugly colour, but I love it merely as a sign of the times. What says 1973 more than a puke green car with navy interior.

If I ever give my girl a full resto, she's going back to limeflower, so much more unique than red.

Look at some of the new colors out there on cars today! I swear I passed one the other day that was a near dead ringer for Sandglow! I know...because that is what my'76 is.....and it HAS really grown on me.

I would love to have a Limeflower B!

1976 Roadster, "Virus", Sandglow - "driver" condition (stock + 32/36 Weber DGEV, cast iron header, 25D distributor), bolt on wheels, ON the road!

There are very many modern auto paint paint colors that you have access to.

Unless you want/need very special MGB colors/or finishes, you one can purchase any modern color and/or finishes for your automobiles.

yes, it has navy seats and black carpet and doors. It was pointed out to me that the seats must be newer. This is helping.

A good story, bad story. winking smiley

The floor covering and sills would have originally been rubber, (Navy) with door seals, (Navy) the carpet on tunnel & behind seats, (Navy) with vinyl door cards & caps, foot well & rear bulkhead, (Navy).
