This afternoon, I was at a local hardware store and when I came out there was an older gentleman looking at my car.

He told me that he had been an MG mechanic at a local dealership for over 30 years (he gave me the name and I knew the dealership), starting with the MGA back in the 1950's.

He had to leave and I neglected to get his phone number, but he had to have a wealth of MG knowledge!!!

You never know who are going to met...

Be careful bandying phrases like "older gentlemen" about - most of us owners are pretty "mature" and I'm not sure how many fancy themselves as "gentlemen"!

I would bet this "gentleman" was in his mid-80's but still going strong!

Nice to hear he's still interested in MGs at 80 years old! Maybe you can have him help pull your engine the next time you need it out!

That may apply to most of us but you got an 18 year old right here!
