Hello all,
My '67 B has been running a bit rough, and has developed a high speed miss. Timing adjusted, runs great when ok but will begin to miss and stall. New Petronix distributor with new wires & etc., cap clean. Vacuum line clear. All wiring checked and in place. All spark plugs correct color. New carbs oiled, not touched since before problem began. Fuel in the filter and flowing. Little exhaust popping, no backfire through the carbs. If I slow down (from 50-60 MPH) and keep the revs up I can usually keep it running to pull off the freeway. No problems yet at around-town speed. After sitting for a few minutes, performance is restored until the next episode.
Any ideas?

Happened to me. It was sticking floats in my SU carbs. New floats made it good.

It can also be a vacuum in the fuel tank. See if it happens with the filler cap off.
