Dave, I got mine from MGOCspares in U.K. I went for rebuilt shocks (no exchange) because of the cost - here in Europe you'd get several rebuilt sets for price of a new set.

Do a search in the forum for this outfit and you'll read lots and lots and lots of praise for their work on shocks

I sent my originals to World Wide Import Auto Parts, Wisconsin. Very odd to pack and ship big chunks of greasy metal. They are on their way back to me now. Another option is to buy first and use their packaging to return yours as cores.

custom work from them is also possible.

I am not a purist, so I converted to tube shocks front and rear after rebuilding the front end. An absolutely brilliant ride and very much improved handling. The initial outlay is a wee bit expensive but well worth it.

World Wide rebuilts are actually overhauled to a higher standard than new. They come with shaft seals that prevent moisture and dust from entering the shock as well as keeping the hydraulic oil inside the assembly. RAY

Just got my own originals (now rebuilt) back from World WIde. They look great! Peter will rebuild yours to your specs or swap and use yours as cores. Great service!

No reason to choose anyone other than Peter at WW as the rest have said above.
