Witness here the cinematic oeuvre of a passionate gearhead who managed to capture the entire rebuild of what appears to be a Triumph/British Leyland 1500 engine for duty in his Spitfire. By either foresight or folly, this intrepid individual diligently recorded the entire process, editing the stills into a Rankin/Bass-style stop-action masterpiece, albeit without Hermey the misfit elf.
