If you've thought about doing a WEBER conversion, but the MOSS price is just a bit too high, then do yourself a favour and check these out:

Dont order from weber carbs direct!!!! I made that mistake, piece of junk & customer service sucks!!! There carbs arent genuine spanish carbs there a knock off made in south america & the quality was HORRIBLE! I trashed my weber carbs direct set up & got a weber dgv kit from redline for 300 something & pierce manifolds has them for that price too & they're genuine good quality carbs & great customer service.

So, how are these crap carbs marked? How do "we" tell when we are faced with one of these so as to know when not to waste too much time and money on fooling around with one?

I converted to a kit from redline, great genuine kit. Robert, how did you change the jetting? Im still working of the jetting right now but still much happier with this kit!

I bought mine from Weber Direct 3 years ago and have not an issue that I can attribute to the carb. I believe it came from Spain. Says Weber on the float bowl cover, the side of the carb and Made in Spain on the base under the float bowl.
