I was messing around with Google Earth and going through a list of of MG dealership addresses to see what they are now. Pretty interesting to see buildings that I drive by all the time and had no idea!

Rick! Find 1881 N. State Rd 7, Hollywood Fl - that was Sports Car South (MG Fiat Alfa) where I worked as a teen early 80's - its part of some huge Toyota dealer now.

WE had one near me in Grand Junction, Colorado in the 60's. The name believe it or not was Moss Motorama. Sold all things BMC. No relation as far as I know to the famous parts vendor. Saw his obit in the paper a few years back. Retired to the big island. Place is an vacant lumber yard now.

I know that the MG FIAT dealer that I worked in in High Point NC is now some sort of something else just south of the Interstate bridge on south main street.

The Lincoln-MG-Maserati dealer that I worked at ( twice ) in Greensboro NC has probably been torn down, but I don't know that for sure as I hardly ever get back that way any more.

The old Sacramento dealership is also a jail. I see a trend - spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

The one in Reno became a Foreign Auto Supply parts store (and a good one at that) with well equipped bays to rent out to work on you car. Always wondered about that building. Now I know.

I saw a Triumph/MG dealer sign in Salem,Oregon - last I noticed,
it was a tractor dealership.
I also saw one,just North of Newport,Rhode Island - I wanted that
sign, but where would I put it?
There's another one - in Aberdeen,Washington, where our Granddaughter
was born.

The one in San Francisco is the Jaguar, Lotus, Bentley and Lambo. So it is sort of the same... The one that was in Hayward, CA is a used car dealership now.

I remember them. They did a clutch replacement on my Morgan. They also gave me rides in a new spitfire, TR4 and E-Jag. They reallly wanted to trade me out of my Morgan!

In Richmond, Virginia, there was Bradley Sports Car Center on West Broad Street, across from Bill's Barbecue. Saw my first MGB there when I was 8 years old. It's now a car audio sales and installation place. Wish I could find an old photo of the MG dealership!! I've googled and googled....nada. If anyone in MG land has one, I'd appreciate a share.

The dealership where my convertible was sold new is now a Rita's Italian Ice stand. We visit frequently out of nostalgia ( and good treats).

I had no idea growing up that Mrs. Lally was selling MGs out of her one family house at 19 Varnum St. in Lowell, Massachusetts circa 1971. Where I was living in 1971 I could look out my bedroom window and see 19 Varnum St. No MG dealer there for sure.

Two on the list in my are are still car dealers.

Westcott in National City is not Wescott Mazda (a almost bought a car from them a couple years ago)

Townsend Lincoln is still a Lincoln dealership, now Witt Lincoln

Of the other two in San Diego, one is now a Motel, the other a dentist office (both new buildings obviously)

My roadster came from British United Automobiles in Toronto. It's still doing business as a Jag dealer I think. Different name now though.
