I Met with David today, found out he lived only a few miles from me, and the warehouse he has the Abarth in is just 5 minutes from my place. He had a bunch for Fiats, VW, etc too!

There were still wrapped, even the chrome tips.

Rats - I thought you meant the Fiat Abarth in the commercial (the one with the Italian girl). Now that would have been a find! devil smiley

Unwrapped the rest of the Abarth to inspect the chrome tips and they are perfect. NO RUST ANYWHERE. I think I will use a hair dryer to heat and peel off the decades old Abarth logo sticker and apply it to the rear of my MGB.

Nice Haul Dakine! I love mine! Had I not connected with one I would have gone with something like vintage Anza tips mated to a current Manaflow from the UK. Those decals are wonderful-Abarth waterslides are certainly available for the boot of your MGB. God Bless! Tony Brown RN mgbbrown

Wow.

I just came across this topic. Do you think he has another system ('72 MGB)?

If you think so, can you forward his contact information?

TIA-

I remember all the excitement last spring. Are you folks who bought these still excited? Was it worth the money? I know that last question is is a judgement call. Thanks.
