This will be a great addition and the possibilities are endless. Will we be able to mouse over a pin for more info?

I could imagine the forum advertisers showing up on the map with a different colored pin. That would make finding parts suppliers and other services located closeby a snap and it would encourage us to patronize your MGE supporters. Perhaps British car repair shops in yet another color. Keep up the great work... it is very much appreciated.

You already can. Mouse over gets the persons name, click on it and you get more info and a link to their member page.

I really like the way it gives the number in an area, turns different colours for the number of pins and consolidates them as you zoom out. Wow- the east coast of the USA really takes the cake in MGE followers.

Yep, if the pins didn't group together as you zoom out, it would be unbearably slow.
Luckily I found a good Javascript library for handling the pin clustering grinning smiley

Pin density definitely following population density around the continent!
Loving some of the pins in surprising places... Turkey, Malta, etc

I purposefully designed it so that your exact location is not marked, for security & privacy reasons.

In general your pin will be randomly moved about 3-5 miles from your location.

If you live in a zip code that covers a very large area (rural), it will be even less accurate.
