My project today was mounting a NOS Amco luggage rack on the roof of my B/GT. I just love the look!

Oh, you've spotted my hidden agenda! LOL But it can only hold 50 lbs. — so what do two cases of wine weigh?

Repainted 2 wheels, powerwashed the wheel wells and undercarriage, changed the sparkplugs, and rigged the seat webbing until I can get my hands on a diaphram.

Sebring headlight covers and Hella Black Magic driving lights! I may be a little biased, but I love it spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Hi All, Just for fun............. I bought a 1967 MGB with 37000 origional mile's on it. I flew into Brisbane in Australia and then drove it home to Adelaide. Only a lazy 1500 miles. Who said MGB's were unreliable. Rubbish. It didn't miss a beat. Oh did i mention it hadn't been on the road since the 1980's. Call me mad, call me stupid. I am in love smiling smiley. Three days of top down (sunburn) cruising. Yeah Baby.

Needed to replace the seals in the master cylinder and fix up the pedals - wobbling horribly. Stripped it all out, found rust everywhere - lots of overflowed brake fluid!. Now all cleaned up, repainted everything, replaced all the pedal bushes etc and it's now back to new. Pedals feel right and the brakes are firm! Before & after attached!

I always wondered what that little tab om peddle box cover was for. It's for the right hand drive throttle cable. Good job on the painting.

Most of us Americans know what a mazda MX5 is...

Anyways what I did with my MGB

Took my nephew out for a joy ride around my area with the top down.
Now he wants a Midget for his first car. Funny thing is before this he was all american muscle or nothing. Guess he realized you don't need 300hp when your not 4000 lbs.

He really enjoyed the ride. Think I just might have given him something to brag about to his friends. This weekend I plan on taking his brother and sister out.

He's 14 his brother is 12 and the sister is 9 or 10 (is it bad I can't remember?)

I gave up being a rug rat on concrete with my steel knees after three weeks and took my car to Patterson Equipment and had the cross member, motor mounts, etc. mounted. I also have headers for my MGB and a Weber manifold and carb. I had a custom tail pipe made and installed and finished off with front, left side brake pads repaired.
What did I do? Well for one I hauled it there on my dolly and I paid the bill. The bill was $175. Put your teeth back in you mouth. The charged me less than three hours of work. I had all the parts.

Put more dynamat in on the floor panels, and put more of the interior carpet in on passengers side. Recarpeted the rear seat deck, wheel wells and back panel....dynamat underneath.

Replaced the headlamps. Rebuilt the bottom seat cushion on the passenger side with new foam, webbing and rails. Not sure if I can get the seats and rails back into same screw holes, but we'll see soon enough. Then it's time to start on the drivers side......oh my spazzing back!!!!

I took B2 for a club run with the Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club today. A pleasant morning driving around the streets of eastern Brisbane including morning tea and lunch stops. (Next time I'll arrange a navigator, the wife does yoga on Thursdays (run days))

I think ... maybe ... the leaky rear axle prob is SOLVED! hot smiley At least on the driver side. Took my GT to my new trustworthy shop, OK Tire & Auto, Ft. Lauderdale; had the l/axle seal replaced with a good metal-bodied made in USA SKF one. We also installed an SKF Speedi-Sleeve on the seal collar where the lip contacts, only 'cos I already paid $28 for it. That axle now has a .010" thicker diameter at the seal thumbs up

While we were at it, got the rear wheels on-car balanced - if there was any pass. side wobble from a suspected bent axle shaft it sure is minimized now, yay.

Now that I watched the seal job closely, I'll take on the right side at home if it leaks again ( it quit recently) So today's $ was well-spent tuition; thanks Scott at OK! smileys with beer

Well, I didn't do anything to my MG but I did something for it. I ordered a 6-blade fuse block, and since it came in today I used Limey's schematic to wire up a new fusebox and pair of relays.

Not too long ago (just before I spun a rod bearing), I was driving to work when my turn signal stalk shorted out and melted a few internal connections. Luckily, I still had my headlights--but only if I held the stalk toward me, as if I were flashing my passing lights. A new stalk's installed now, but once the engine's back in she's getting the fusebox, relays, and halogen beams.
