I replaced outer door seals (which was a ton of fun btw!) & added a new steering wheel cover. Tomorrow is electronic to mechanical oil gauge swap & heat shield install for the HS6's.

What did you guys do?

Great thread idea! I'm making this a sticky.
Thanks, Skye

I just drove around the block for the first time in a mgb!!!! So happy, even if I did run out of gas at the bottom of my driveway smiling bouncing smiley. This was the longest I've driven it. Can't wait till summer and finishing my to do list.

I drove it! I had to run some errands so I decided to take the B. Still no snow in upstate Ny and they haven't salted the roads. I've also never driven it when it was so cold. I think it was 15-18 degrees F. It took awhile for the oil pressure to get to up 70# with the 20W50. It mostly hovered around 50# until the engine got nice and hot. It ran like a champ! But I've almost run out most of the gas I treated with stabil a month or so ago!

Soon, tho' I want to park it in the back of the garage and start metal work on the GT.

Put in a new battery converting from dual 6's to single 12. Replaced the left headlight. Finished prepping the replacement steering wheel to put in the car. Getting it ready for New Years Eve.

Replaced all the chrome lugs nuts. Took off the damn locking ones, Id rather have my wheels stolen... Ive never heard of anyone in the 17 years Ive lived in this town having their wheels stolen anyway.

In the mid 60's today in central Texas. Took the cover off and drove it to the club for lunch. Took the scenic drive home. Hadn't driven it for a couple of weeks and we missed each other.

Took off the gearshift knob, took a super thin brush and some white enamel paint and stared to paint back in the lines and gear numbers.

After 7 solid months of intensive care on this lil bugger the days kinda blur together LOL. Lessee... getting ready for my 1st road trip, leaving Miami at 6 AM Sat for Jensen Beach. It's only 120 miles but it's the 1st trip so Im excited as a kid with a new toy (it passed several test drives @up to 90 MPH this week, 200 miles total)

Adjusted the valves, drove 10 mi. for warm-up, set the timing, set up the carbs for the 1000th time, checked all fluids, finished the Garmin GPS cable and plug install, took the front wheels off and to the tire shop for the THIRD time to get balanced properly. Enough for 1 day, picking up the tires tomorrow AM, then wash & wax and we're DONE (hopefully?)
