Tony, the finished product looks great! And as a side note, you may have convinced me to paint my GT silver when the time comes.

Thanks guys! You can't go wrong with silver Stephen. Its just a matter of what shade of silver or whether it should be a warmer or cooler tone.

My first reaction was, "Ooh!"

I've thought about it some more, and you know what? "Ooh!" it is.

Really, really nice.

Congress is proposing a bill that would give President Obama a kill switch that he could use to freeze all activity on the Internet if there were a national emergency. The kill switch goes by the top-secret name Microsoft Windows. –Conan O'Brien

Tony, I'm ordering one of your valances soon! I really like the split opening look! Any more work on the flares?

Thanks Jim! My wife and I are in the process of moving in the next couple weeks so I'm gonna wait till I get into the much BIGGER garage to work on the flares. I will also need a donor car or just the fenders when I tackle the flares and rear valance so I don't scratch or muck up my car. So if anyone is interested in donating your car/fenders for a little while, I will in turn offer you some of my newly designed fiberglass parts for your B for free! Sounds like a good deal to me. Email me at tonyjennes@yahoo.com if you're interested. Thanks!

Re the fiberglass process. Many of the parts are made up using a chopper gun to spray on a chopped glass strand and resin mixture. Fast and cost effective but not very riged. If a compination of mate and roving, woven glass cloth, are used then the part will be sronger and less likley to lose its original shape. More time comsuming as it has to be done by hand and properly air rolled. Vacume bagging may be the real answer. Count me in as very interested.

Hey David,
Thanks for your interest. I make these parts using a process called resin vacuum infusion. So your final part will be stronger and more lightweight. I also use the glass cloth and epoxy resin which is much stronger and a bit more flexible than the usual polyester resin and chopped strand.

I'm not sure what the market is on these. But it would sure be awesome if somebody was making the berlinette front fenders with the reseced and covered head lights. They are gorgeous. I'm sure I am not the only one that would want a set. I doubt they would be cheap but they sure are pretty.
