haha...I guess its official, you're first Hap! The prototype is fitted and bolted on the car, just finishing up a little bodywork here and there before I paint it.
To answer your question Marshall, the valance will mount onto the OEM mounting location, but it will bolt from behind instead of on the front like the Sebring valance. In other words the valance will be flush with the fenders and the bolts will not be visible from the outside, also unlike the Sebring. Plus it also has an adjustable splitter lip for more downforce and so you don't bash it on any curbs. smiling smiley

Well then another Rookie question is how are the turn signals mounted then since they're in the Bumper? and which grill will fit the front opening?
Thanks Guy's,
Marshall

On chrome bumper MGBs, the turn signal are made into the fenders, like Tony's car pictured above. On the rubber bumper MGB, the turn signals are indeed part of the RB assembly, so any chrome bumper, or bumplessless conversion for a RB MGB will include you having to mount turn signals.

Hey guys, here are some "pre-introduction" pics of the prototype valance. Keep in mind that this is the unfinished prototype, the final product will of course look much better than what you see in the pics. The kit will include closeout panels to cover the fog light/brake duct holes as well as the center opening should you choose to go with a different look. The kit will also have the option of having the lower splitter at an extra cost. Let me know what ya think!

Don't mean to be critical but my eyes would work better if the sun light were on the front and not the rear. I can hardly make out anything with the pics.

Yeah, sorry about the quality of the pics, I took them last night in the garage. I'll try to take some out in the sunlight tomorrow.

I think it's looking really good. Personally I don't care for the "tooth" in the middle, but the overall design is great. A loose mesh in the center opening might help it to not look quite so large compared to the radiator grill opening. Nice job!

EDIT: I take it back about the large opening. Now that more photos are posted, it doesn't look as proportionally big.

Thanks Steve! As far as the "tooth", I wanted to add something in there to break up the shape of the opening and to compliment the MG logo on the grille. I think the pictures and the fact that its in primer are kind of deceiving to the eye. Once its painted, I think it will blend in with the rest of the front end. I'll try to get some better photo's soon, with some mesh inserts also. I also wanted to mount the chrome bumper to see if it interferes with the fog light openings.
