Has anyone ever done an engine swap for a MG 1100 or seen/heard of one that has been done? Fun, interesting, and rewarding if that's your cup of tea and you have the skills. A surefire way to end up with a stalled project in worse shape than you started if you don't have the aforementioned skills!

Also, do you know the location(s) for the vin? I see a metal plate on the frame above the grill on the passenger side with a few numbers on it, but it is mostly unreadable.
