I have recently found a 1972 model with air conditioning. There's was no "factory A/C" ever fot the "B"'s. They were all dealer installed. However , the later cars had a factory approved kit available from British Leyland.

My '71 B-GT has still has onr of the dealer A/C kits on it, and it was still working through the summer last year here in Memphis. I changed out the old York "210" compressor for a much smaller and more effecient Sanden compressor. VintageAir sold me the compressor as well as a York to Sanden mounting adapter.
