Retired from Verizon and a former sub sailor. My first car was a new 65 MG Midget. I also owned a 65 MGB in 1970 and always wanted another one. I finally got one 02/10 and I'm loving it!! My wife's car is a early 74 chrome bumper MGB.

I finally got the 74B sorted out. I installed a new eBay $78 45D distributor from Sports Car Parts LTD and the car is finally running smooth. I got the new gas tank installed and RUBY started on the first click after sitting in my garage for about two years. I could not believe it. I now have trouble getting it to stay running...next week I will get with some club members to see if we can find out what the problem is. Also the turn signals are not working. I also have it almost completely put back together except for some parts that are on order. I also need to get a complete new rear bumper. I love a project.

I got my 1974 MGB Ruby back from Automotive Collision Experts(ACE) today with the wrecked rear end fixed....it looks great. Now I have to put it back together and get it running again. My first job is to install the new gas tank. It has not been started for two years so I will ask some club members over to help me to see if it will ROAR again.

I had my 74 MGB towed to Automotive Collision Experts(ACE) today to get the rear end body damage fixed. I removed the gas tank yesterday which was a little tough because the front two screws were bent out of shape and inaccessible...I had to use a crow bar to bend the metal to get at them. This car is going to be my wife's driver. She has already made me a list of all she wants me to do to it....new mini-lite mags, new momo-lita steering wheel and redo the interior panels.....and etc, etc, etc...
