Well I haven't updated this as regularly as I hope hoped but since, starting as a design apprentice at the revived Triumph motorcycles I have found less time to document what I have been doing to the car. When my dad brought my car there was a mass of wiring hanging loose under the dashboard as well as two speakers mounted in the wooden bulkhead between the boot and cabin. There had at one point been a radio in the car but by the looks of it had used some sort of custom built mount. I have not updated this journal in quite a while and in the 6 months or so since then quite a lot has happened to the car. I am very nearly now at the stage where the car is ready to take an MOT but there were a few steps between November and now that I have not covered. First, for Christmas I received a pair of wing mirrors and 3-point seatbelts for the car. Not what every 17 year would ask for but it suited me down to the ground. I have recently been getting the midget ready for some paint repair. I need to have the front end resprayed after a previous owner has hammerited the lower half of the front panels and the sprayed one side of it green to repair that. So everything has come off the the front now, lights, grille bumpers and bonnet (which is new and will also be being sprayed).
