Owned MG's for over 20 years. Started with 65 Sprite seen when 16 years old in Georgia.Moved to Ky in Dec 1975. Went back and bought Sprite body.Then bought 74 Midget. Meet wife cruising in 74 Midget still own. Sprite body destroyed when tree fell on garage with 1974 Midget.Bought 75 Midget blown motor.Repaired 74 Midget. Then 74 got rearend by van by then needed groundup restoring. Got 75 Midget running in 1996 and then repainted. The 74 Midget next one to restore after MGB with Ford 2.3 leter turbo. Restoring 74 original except Datsun 5-speed.

Using chromebumper dash instead of the 77 dash. Installed Autometer chrome series. Using the mercury cougar steering column so I was able to remove some of the switchs from dash. That left me room on far left of dash to install vintage air vents for the airconditioner.Using the entire wiring harness minus what I don't need to wire car. Only MGB wiring left is a pigtails of tailights.

Bought out of guy's backyard for 400 Dollars drove it for about a year. Decided to change sold motor and trans. Decided with bodymans help 2.3Ford turbo out of 86 Mercury cougar. Got donar car got it running. Pulled motor and trans mocked up into body. Modified fuel tank for EFI. Redone wiring for battery in MGB location not under hood. Installed Cougar steering column. Used all Cougar wiring modified for Autometer Gauges. Going to use underdash AC with Vintage Air vents in older style dash. Con...
