Too Much Snow In Canada

Posted on: Saturday November 10, 2012

Well, the wind got up and the snow got deep. My garage in a box flew up and down like a kite and now my 51 morris is open to the elements. I double tarped her until I can get some kind of shed built. I bought her to keep my wife in a positive mood. Hope to get her sanding and some pics of her with a smile on her face. Will get her driving "Dinah" as soon as I can. Does anyone of you know where I can get a pre-1000 tool kit? I have the original jack. Buy not the starting handle....what all was in...

Today I am going to see a 51 convertible. It is a long trip but I am hoping the price is right. It is a barn find in 64. Engine was rebuilt. needs a top and interior also a paint job I will take pics and get the scoop on what is original and then make my offer.... will post when I get back.

worked on the midget. found a lot of surface rust and spent some time killing it. The jack points are nasty and explain why the previous owner filled them in. Not a job \i am looking forward to

Seats Are Out

Posted on: Sunday September 23, 2012

Took out the seats, threw out the old red carpet. Hey, found some change under the passenger side seat. That was a nasty job. More rust. Now I see why there are no jack holes on the side panels.
