A Canadian transplant to the grand old USA! I was brought up in Hamilton Ontario, the North American home of BMC, and a major port on the Saint Lawrence Seaway. At that time, British and foreign automobiles were everywhere. MGs, Austins, Triumphs, Sunbeams, Jaguars, Morris, Rileys, Auto Union, Borgwards, DKW, Isettas, Alfa Romeos, Fiats, Skodas, Porches, ETC, ETC. I got my first MG, a red Midget new in 1964. During those younger years, I owned 2 MG midgets, a Riley 1.5, a Borgward Hansa, VW Beetle, and several Volvos. I was struggling, and I did many repairs myself, sometimes on the side of the road in a snow bank. A life time later and in Tampa Fl. I rediscovered the MGB. I purchased the first one on Ebay, 6 years ago, and began to remember what was in store for me. I got the second one December 2007, and proceeded to do a complete ground up rebuild. Lots of pics, of my folly will be available.
