The body has been deemed to be crushable - it's too badly gone - I may practice my welding skills on it..... so now looking for another donor car/shell for the project!

I now have the body at home and it's ugly - after a good going over with the media blaster! holes everywhere!!! and a replacement roof!!! So the next thing is all the welding and the Sebring kit! Engine is moving ahead well! Parts secured via Captain Kirk! More later with pictures! san

Hello Folks! Went out to the body shop today - car has been media blasted and all removable parts bullet proof coated. Next stage is cut out the rust - renew inner sill, rocker, castle section and floor pans on each side. Seems there are problems around the engine cross member that will need attention. Camshaft is in to be checked and re-profiled by Shadbolt's of Vancouver. Engine is being bored and gauged up for new pistons, bearing etc. Head pressure tested ok! - next step is acquiring ...

Stage 2/3 Engine is now being assessed - block sound and will be chemical cleaned to remove all the rust from the water galleries. Pistons junk and crank to be grounded -10 under - +40 on the pistons and all new bearings etc. Head ok - new Exhaust Valves 'n' Guides and Seats to install - Captain Kirk providing the necessaries! Body - now being 'GemBlasted' - all rust removed and new floor pans and eventually "Bullet-Proof" primed - supposed to be better than anything else and used on militar...
