OK...had some time today while watching the grandsons and waiting for my VB order so I can put the engine back together so I headed out to the shop. Had some walnut standing in a corner so I made the first set of slats from black walnut and oiled it to see how dark it should be. I'll post on the MGB forum for critiquing by members.

OK...been busy putting a couple tweaks into the B. Sent for new rubber for the hardtop, found a neat clamping setup that may work great for hardtop tie down, found a nice luggage rack here that I'm making mahogany slats for, and found a complete dual carb setup with linkage and manifold on eBay for less than $200, and have been driving it around at least one day a week...UNTIL. leaving a local rocery store the other day, I started to hear what sounded like an exhaust leak. I've been remiss in keeping up with my latest project. By this time when I was doing the Model A, I had a couple dozen pictures and a dozen or more pages of text. I have a book I started the day I bought the Model A that I kept pictures and text of every detail of the restoration/build.
