Ready To Roll...

roto

on the roto...got it mounted and balanced...now for the fun...stripping all the old paint and primer off. The 3M rubber wheels cut through the paint and primer right down to bare metal with ease...they even remove rust!

to mounting the gt on the roto. A couple of more pieces of steel to widen the base and I will be good to go! I hope to have it on the roto this weekend...but I do have some goose hunting to do.

Finally got the other side apart, it was a wee bit easier than the drivers side, and now the x-member is sitting on the floor...now if I could only get that one last bolt out of the steering rack everything would be great. It would seem that it is the way of this B to hold on to one last bolt on almost everything...steering rack, each hub refuses to let go of one bolt holding it to the brake disc. I bet if I had a set of torches I would not have had this problem, the gas bottles are just too exp...

I suppose I should have expected the worst after not being able to drop the front x-member as a complete unit. I had to cut off most of the bolts that did not shear off on the left hand side...but after a couple of hours I did manage to get mostly everything off. The only thing left now is the spring...and I will be damned if I can figure out how I am going to get that out...no luck trying to loosen the bolts from the top, I will have a go at them from underneath tonight and hope that they just ...
