Kathy and I have been married for 33 wonderful years and have owned 5 British cars in that time. 1 Morris Mini Moke, 1 MG Midget, 2 MGB LE's (1979 and 1980), and 1 Triumph Spitfire...the LE's have always been the favorite.

Got all of the engine hooked up. Had to replace the lower A-arm bushings, took about 3 hours. Got the front end toe-in adjusted and took her out for a test drive. WOW...what a difference an OD makes. 3200rpm @ 70mph. 3500rpm @ 75mph. Making trip to SA on the 8th, a good check out.

After going over the John Twist video again, I found out that his explaination is backwards. Re-did the mounts and everything goes in smoothly now.

Got the radiatro back in. Remounted the cooling fans. Remounted the intake and carb and exhaust manifolds. Installed the painted valve cover and new nuts. remounted, but didnt tighten down the alternator. Installed and hooked up all water and electrical lines.

Dropped the rear cross member today and hooked up all of the OD electrical wiring and remounted the rear cross member.
