. . . my girlfriend certainly likes how any finished cute little car looks. Careful, you will soon have a wife. My wife and I married, the night after we finished college at Rice University in Houston, in May 1962. In the next 20 years, we went to dog shows in the Santa Barbara area. Don't ever come out here in mid-'Summer. No A/C needed and not much heat, and the beautiful Pacific Ocean is nearby.54 years later, my wife is in assisted living and I live with one of our adult daughters. I saw the 1977 MGB as we started on our house in Lompoc, in 1983. I bought it for $200. Now, 79,000 miles later, it has a gold metallic paint job, a brown Stayfast fabric top, and the next driver will be my adult daughter, and later the grandsons. It will have a GM 3.4L V6 (160 hp) with fuel injection. I am now 77 years oldRoger N. Tanner, Professional Engineer, RetiredOxnard, CA USA
