Be careful . The combination of vaporized gas and spark could start an engine fire. I know this because......

I absolutely agree Earl. After I witnessed the gas flying out of the car, I shut it down and closed everything up for the day. Let the gasoline evaporate away to save levels. I do have fire extinguishers in the garage in case something goes badly. I would prefer to learn from your unfortunate experience and not create my own unfortunate experience. I will need to pull the bottom of the carb apart and adjust the float bowl height and hope that addresses my flooding issue. I'm anxious to get the car started. Unfortunately carburetors are not my strong suit. Brian

Hey there Brian,Can you tell me where internal fuel filter is located? I was not aware of it. I use an external filter. Thanks Craig

Craig,I also have an external fuel filter, but the internal one is located next to the floats bowls above the bottom float chamber. The two links below shows the part, and it's location. The second image calls it a float needle valve. That picture shows the proper location, but does not depict the strainer on top of it.. The part was included in the Moss Motors Zenith Stromberg rebuild kit.http://www.englishparts.com/images/parts/aiap/fullsize/B21344-1.jpghttps://www.howacarworks.com/illustration/939/stromberg-carburettor.pngBrian
