July 4th-We had some friends over and one of them had never driven an MG so I put him behind the wheel of the B. He took to it very well. Then after about 10 minutes of driving, I looked at the oil pressure guage. It was reading 0 oil pressure. I yanked the key out of the dash and he pulled over. Popped the hood, smoke everywhere and no oil in the engine. At first I thought it was an oil cooler line that had burst, but then, when I was able to get under the car and look around, realized that it wasn't them. I had a lot of trouble on the last oil change getting everything to line up. So, I think that the O-ring from the block to the adaptor is the culprit. Still, I'm going to replace the oil cooler, cooler lines, filter, and the O-rings. Then, I'll be back on the road.
