Rocker cover is a little too pitted for my liking & will take more work or a replacement to look decent.

Enough of body repair (for a while anyway). Thought I would give the engine a new paint job. This engine was remarkably free of oil & dirt, just needed removal of the old red paint with power wire brush & dremel for the nooks & crannies.

LH Dog Leg Repair

This is a view of the LH dog leg after cutting, clean up & re-welding. Not too many issues here, just needed a good clean out & rust treatment.
Sure be nice if the rear wings were bolt on like the front.

This is a good shot that shows the inside of the rear sill nicely cleaned up & painted & also shows the triangular shaped filler piece welded in position.
